How long will my order take to be made and dispatched?

Because many of our pieces are handmade or made in small batches, processing times can vary.

  • In-stock items: dispatched within 1-2 working day

  • Made-to-order items: typically dispatched within 7–14 days

Do you offer custom or personalised orders?

Yes — we love creating one-off pieces.

If you have a custom request, please get in touch via our Contact Us page with as much detail as possible. We’ll be happy to discuss your ideas, availability and timescales before confirming whether we can make it for you.


Do you offer wholesale or bulk orders?

We do offer wholesale and bulk ordering options.

If you’re interested in stocking Cast & Wood or placing a larger order, please contact us via the Contact Us page and we’ll discuss quantities, lead times and pricing.


How much is shipping?

  • Standard UK shipping: £4.00 on orders up to £40

  • Free UK shipping: on all orders over £40

Do you ship internationally?

We’re not currently able to offer international shipping through this website.

However, international orders can be placed through our Etsy shop:

Will my item look exactly like the photos?

Each piece is handmade using natural wood, so no two items are exactly the same. Variations in grain, colour and texture are part of what makes each piece unique and are not considered faults.

We do our best to photograph and describe items accurately, but natural variations should be expected.


How do I care for my wooden items?

To keep your Cast & Wood pieces looking their best:

  • Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth

  • Do not soak or place in the dishwasher

  • Avoid prolonged exposure to heat or direct sunlight

  • Re-oil occasionally if recommended for your specific item

Care instructions may vary by product — please refer to individual listings if provided.


What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If your item is damaged, faulty or incorrect, contact us straight away so we can resolve the issue as quickly as possible.


Can I return an item?

We accept returns in line with our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Please note that custom, personalised, made-to-order and sale items are non-returnable unless faulty.

Do you accept gift orders?

Yes — our items make lovely gifts. If you’d like your order sent directly to the recipient, just make sure the correct delivery address is entered at checkout.
